The value for money at this hotel is fantastic. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot for what you pay for. This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for a stay near the beautiful Lake Siljan. I loved the attention to detail in the traditional Swedish-style rooms, with the added bonus of black out curtains in the bedroom for a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day off right.

Pleasant room, great spa-bath

Our stay was not terrible, but there were some cons. The hotel has a traditional style which is quite pleasant, and our room was light, large and airy with a balcony offering us a beautiful view. The spa-bath was great, and the scrambled eggs and bacon breakfast was delicious.

The negatives started with poor service and continued with the outdated hotel. The bathroom needs renovation, and we could hear every sound from the neighboring room, which was a turn-off.

Location was nice as it was surrounded by beautiful nature. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety.

The rooms were not well maintained as they had stains on the wallpaper and curtains. The bathroom was dirty and outdated.
